Costa Rica Seascape | The beauty of the caribbean coast
The Gandoca-Manzanillo wildlife refuge is located behind the quiet Caribbean town of Manzanillo in Costa Rica. It is a marine and wildlife sanctuary and is one of the few national parks, together with Cahuita National Park, that strives to protect the surrounding coral reef. On my fifth trip to the location an approaching storm had covered the sky with thick clouds when suddenly the sun peeked through a gap in the dense cloud cover and illuminated the islet, showing me the true wonder of this magnificent landscape.
