Tides | Drawing the marshlands
According to NASA scientists, conditions in the waters of the Río Tinto could represent those of possible subterranean water deposits on Mars. Microorganisms present in the water have adapted to the extreme levels of acidity and presence of heavy metals such as iron, copper, etc… Close to the river mouth the alternating tides of the Atlantic Ocean and the flow of the Rio Tinto have created this fanciful abstract drawing of two trees´ branches.
