Seduced by Nature
From the very beginning, I have always been passionate about my vocation as a photographer. I have tried to do my best to find the most suitable outward expression of my innermost vision of the Natural World. At times I have striven to capture Nature's wildest and most merciless facet while on other occasions its most tender and touching side. Both aspects have always enthralled me.
The fact that Nature creates, evolves, perfects and embellishes itself offers me, as a photographer, an omnipresent challenge to my personal quest for a composition both aesthetically pleasing, and elegant in its delicacy.
This quest has spurred me on to capture moments that will have such an impact on the spectators' senses that they will feel that they have enriched their lives from the experience. In this way I try to transmit knowledge and understanding so as to promote the conservation of our Living World.
My passion for photography began as a consequence of my early love of Nature and a desire to capture what I felt during that experience. I gradually became aware that capturing images at precise moments in time is a unique personal achievement that is the essence of photography. All my photographic work has one common denominator, which may be best summarized conceptually as "The Art of Creation is the Art of Nature."
